"JOHANN KARL FRIEDRICH GAUSS"

German mathematician, physicist and astronomer from Braunschweig. He was born on April 30, 1777 and died on March 23, 1885.

Karl Friedrich Gauss

PERSON INFO:
Born into a humble family, his mother was illiterate, cooking, ironing and washing clothes for the people, his father was a bricklayer and worked in a trade counting the money.
He was married 4 times and Tube 6 sons Joseph, Wilhelmina, Louis, Eugene, Wilhelm and Therese.
His findings began when he was three years old when he interrupted his father when he was busy accounting for his business to indicate a miscalculation.
He entered primary school before the age of seven and when he was ten, his teacher asked the class to find the sum of all the numbers between one and a hundred thinking that the class would be busy for some time, he was amazed when Gauss , he raised his hand at once and gave the correct answer. Revealed that he found the solution using algebra.

EDUCATION AND CAREER:
At the age of 12 years the Duke of Brunswick provided him with financial assistance in his secondary and university studies, which he carried out at the University of Göttingen between 1795 and 1798 at 18 years. His doctoral thesis in 1799 at age 19 on the fundamental theorem of algebra (which establishes that any algebraic equation of complex coefficients has equally complex solutions), which Gauss showed..In 1807 he accepted the position of Professor of astronomy at the Observatory of Göttingen.

INVENTION/ DISCOVERY:

In 1835 Carl Friedrich Gauss would formulate Gauss's law, or Gauss's theorem. 2 This law would be one of its most important contributions in the field of electromagnetism, and it would derive two of the four Maxwell equations.
"Works that gave him awards and recognition "

1799: Disertación sobre el teorema fundamental del álgebra (Demonstratio nova theorematis omnem functionem algebraicam rationalem integram unius variabilis in factores reales primi vel secundi gradus resolvi posse)
1801: Disquisitiones Arithmeticae
1809: Theoria Motus Corporum Coelestium in sectionibus conicis solem ambientium

Karl Friedrich Gauss, a scientist whose depth of analysis, breadth of interest and rigour of treatment deserved in his life the nickname of "Prince of Mathematicians".
